For special education cooperatives & regional service agencies

One co-op agreement.
Every district you serve.

Most of your member districts have no nurse on staff and no real way to document Type 1 diabetes care. T1D Ready gives your cooperative a compliance-ready service to hand them: live CGM, care logs, staff training, and parent messaging — under one BAA and one invoice.

Browser-based, no install. Syncs with the family's existing Dexcom Share account.

Why cooperatives buy it

Your members share staff, services, and paperwork. This fits the way you already work.

One procurement, not twenty

A cooperative-wide agreement covers your member districts and lets you add schools as they join. No re-papering for every new district.

A service in your catalog

Offer Type 1 care coordination alongside the special education services members already buy from you — without hiring a nurse or building a tool.

District data stays district data

Access is scoped to each school. A nurse in one member district never sees another district’s students.

What member districts get

One platform for monitoring, logging, training, and communication.

Live CGM monitoring

Dexcom Share readings and trend arrows for each student, without a text chain to the family.

Care logs

Insulin, carbs, ketones, and treatments in a spreadsheet-style log per student — the documentation SPED files are usually missing.

Staff training tracking

Glucagon and looping-system certifications with expiry dates across every member district.

Emergency protocols

Response plans and emergency contacts one tap from the dashboard.

Parent messaging

Secure, role-based messages. No personal phone numbers exchanged.

Field trip planning

Supplies checklists and emergency plans ready before the bus leaves the lot.

How a cooperative rollout runs

No district-wide launch required. Prove it with two schools first.

01

Start with two member districts

One care plan each, thirty days, focused on the parts of the school day that hurt most.

02

Add districts with an access code

Every school gets its own record and its own code. Adding a district takes minutes, not an IT project.

03

Bring numbers to your board

Participation, staff training completion, and care log counts, ready for the next directors’ meeting.

Priced per school, not per seat

One rate per member district, so the cost stays predictable as your membership grows. Eight member districts comes to about $4,690 per school per year.

Co-op holds no software budget? Each district can subscribe individually and you keep the oversight. See the plan details.

  • $15,000 a year covers three schools
  • $4,500 a year for each additional school
  • No per-seat or per-student fees
  • Every district can also subscribe on its own

Questions cooperative directors ask

Our cooperative doesn’t hold a software budget. Can members pay individually?

Yes. A member district can subscribe on its own at the per-school rate, and you still get the cooperative view of which schools are active and how staff training is progressing.

Do we sign one BAA or one per district?

Either works. The business associate agreement is signed with the covered entity, so we can paper it with the cooperative for all members or district by district, whichever your counsel prefers.

Who owns the student data?

The district does. Records are scoped to the school they belong to, so staff in one member district cannot see another district’s students. Parents see only their own child.

Does a district need IT staff to run it?

No. It runs in a browser with nothing to install. CGM sync uses the family’s existing Dexcom Share account, and districts that do not use CGM can log readings by hand.

What happens if a district leaves the cooperative?

Care logs can be exported before access ends, so the district keeps its documentation. Their subscription can continue independently at the per-school rate.

Walk through it as a cooperative

Fifteen minutes with your team, built around your member districts rather than a single school. Bring your director of special education and anyone who reviews vendor agreements.

  • How one cooperative agreement covers every member district
  • Adding a district, a nurse, and a student in under ten minutes
  • Your BAA, funding, and IT questions, answered on the same call
